Where's the best Philly cheesesteak near Clayton, NC?
Right here. Sak's Deli at 876 Gulley Dr makes Philly cheesesteaks to order on real Liscio's rolls, the official roll of the Phillies, with a whole lineup including pepper, sweet chili, mad mushroom, buffalo, and pizza steak. Open Tuesday through Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm, Sunday 9am to 3pm, closed Monday.
Does Sak's serve breakfast all day?
Yes, and we mean all day. New York water bagel sandwiches, pork roll, omelette platters, and breakfast burritos, from open to close. Your 2pm breakfast is safe with us. See the breakfast page.
Do you have vegetarian options?
We do. We're a deli, so meat leads the menu, but nobody leaves hungry. There's the veggie omelet, egg and cheese on a bagel, texas toast, croissant or kaiser, a grilled cheese, a cheese quesadilla, and salads we'll build without the meat. Plus fries, house chips, and the pasta, potato, mac, and broccoli salads. Tell us what you're avoiding and we'll work with you.
Where do your rolls come from?
Straight from Liscio's, a family bakery just outside Philly and the official roll of the Philadelphia Phillies. We bring them in because a cheesesteak is only as good as what it's on. It costs us more. That's kind of the whole point.
Does Sak's cater events?
All the time. Office lunches, breakfast spreads, game days, graduations, repasts, church functions, birthdays, and holiday parties. Tell us the headcount and the date and we'll build the spread. Head to catering to request a quote.
What are your hours?
Closed Monday. Tuesday through Friday we're open 10am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm, and Sunday 9am to 3pm.
Do you deliver?
Order direct through our online ordering and we'll get it to you, so more of your money stays with a local family instead of a delivery app. You can also always call ahead and pick up.
When does the food truck launch?
September 1. It'll be rolling around Johnston County and available to book for private events. Get on the list on the food truck page so you know where to find us day one.
